When you look at your wedding photos, I want you to feel exactly what you felt that day. I will not ask you to smile or hold a pose, but will rather guide you into having a real experience and feeling genuine emotions. Together we will create tangible memories you will cherish for a lifetime and share with the generations to come.
As your wedding or family photographer I am there to embrace your unique character and capture the essence of your story rather than a specific pose. My cinematic approach means that you can look at your photos and not only be transported back to the emotions you felt, but also observe your wedding day from a new and unique perspective.

“Booked with Laura Cate for our wedding in December and *wow*. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but Laura led our private session with such grace and openness that really produced some INCREDIBLE photos.”

Before becoming a mom, traveling was what brought me the most joy. I was born & partly raised in France before my family moved to Central America. A couple of years into living in Costa- Rica, we moved to the United States. I caught the travel bug from an early age and experiencing new cultures and landscapes is what lights my soul up the most in this world (besides my son).
