I'm Laura: a French-American wedding photographer, art lover, ex-journalist and I'm here to show you how unique and magical your story truly is.
Our photographs outlive us. With them, we leave behind traces of who we once were and whether the emotion and authenticity of your story is passed down for generations to come, depends on the person behind the lens.
I'm Laura, a Savannah, GA & Asheville, NC based wedding photographer with a French passport and European perspective. My primary job title is "mom". My 3 year old son is my main source of inspiration and motivation, but I was also raised in a diverse environment by artist parents who have largely fueled my creativity.
My background has motivated my curiosity for the human experience, which I strive to explore through the art of visual storytelling.
Since I can remember, I have always loved to people watch - observing humans move around their environment and pondering what their stories might be. Since finding a career in the wedding industry, my fascination for psychology and human behavior has come in quite handy!
Capturing heartfelt moments on wedding days requires acute observation skills and presence. That is why I love my career so much. I get to watch, wait, and then immortalize the split second in your big day which will help me authentically tell the story of you and the people you love most in this world.
Whether your story unfolds against the backdrop of charming Southeastern USA like Asheville or Savannah, GA or the breathtaking beauty of Provence, France, you can rest assured I will be there to capture it in the most honest way possible.
